ArSonKuPik can be used as a musical stereo enhancer on tracks, buses or a full mix. The useful goal is not maximum width: it is a clearer sense of space while the centre, low end and mono playback remain believable.

Goal

Width is only useful when the mix still translates

  • Listen for more separation and depth around a stable centre, not simply a larger left-right image.
  • Use the Stereo control gradually and judge the result on familiar material.
  • For bass-heavy music, pay special attention to whether the foundation becomes vague or disconnected.
Starting workflow

Start from balance, then add space

  • Begin with Signature Balanced or another preset that already fits the tonal direction.
  • Increase Stereo only until the presentation opens up; compensate other controls only when the mix actually needs it.
  • Use Gain Match when deciding whether the spatial change is genuinely better rather than simply louder.
Verification

Check mono, centre focus and low-end stability

  • Collapse the result to mono in your DAW or monitoring chain and listen for important elements that become unexpectedly weak.
  • Use your normal correlation, phase and loudness meters when the release requires technical verification.
  • Compare at multiple listening levels; exaggerated width can sound exciting at first and tiring later.
Boundary

This is not a dedicated stereo-analysis suite

  • ArSonKuPik is an enhancer, not a replacement for a vectorscope, correlation meter or forensic phase tool.
  • It does not promise that every source will tolerate the same amount of stereo processing.
  • For mastering delivery, keep the final decision tied to mono compatibility and the destination format.
